Gladys Balmas is the interim role of Health Policy and Planning (HPP) Manager. She has nearly 25 years’ experience with SMC Health. In her role with Aging and Adult Services Gladys has led continuous process improvement projects using the LEAN Global Management System, facilitated various cross department and division collaboration activities, and has been an advocate and leader for advancing SMC Health’s equity work. Gladys continues to be an advocate for transformational change to improve the lives of everyone in San Mateo. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will be a great asset to HPP during this interim period.
