The California Legislature recently agreed to continue to support schools as they struggle to manage the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to ensure continuity in budgeting for school districts, the legislature agreed to fund districts based on the enrollment of the 2019-20 school year for the 2020-2021 year. This will ensure districts receive consistent funding and will allow for districts that see an increase in enrollment to receive additional funding.
