One of the key priorities identified East Palo Alto, South San Francisco, and North Fair Oaks/Redwood City is the expansion of affordable, high quality child care, and preschool opportunities. Partners interested in staying informed about policies and strategies related to this issue are invited to attend the San Mateo County Child Care Partnership Council (CCPC). At the June meeting, researchers presented preliminary data on projected child care availability and shortfalls, as well as survey data on the non-licensed child care workforce (e.g., nannies).
