Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center Supports Small Business Owners Affected by COVID-19
REC implemented the Small Business Recovery Assistance Program this past spring to address critical needs through virtual one-on-one technical assistance and trainings focused on online business strategies and accessing Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding and other financial resources. In early August, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors awarded REC with a $200k grant which has generated a huge boost to their services, allowing them to continue to provide assistance to small business owners affected by the pandemic.
