San Mateo County Health Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, Bay Area Community Health Advisory Council, Star Vista, and Get Healthy San Mateo County hosted the third virtual Race & COVID-19 Community Town Hall on November 13^th, 2020.  County staff presented on the status of the communitywide recovery effort in San Mateo County and the most pressing needs facing vulnerable families who have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19, including widespread housing, food, and job insecurity. Community leaders shared insights into the challenges and opportunities experienced by community-based organizations and their staffs on the front lines during the COVID era, and their ability to quickly pivot to virtual and COVID-safe services for their community members.  During the Town Hall, local residents also engaged directly with County leadership to share feedback and ask questions.
