First Contemplative Practices Session Hosted by Senior Coastsiders
Senior Coastsiders held their first of a ten-session series on contemplative practices. Mindfulness and meditative practice have been around for centuries but have become popularized in Western culture. During this session, participants learned about the roots of mindfulness and meditative practice, and strategies for how it can be used in everyday life to manage stress and promote wellness.
