County of San Mateo:  The is still time to apply for the 2021-2022 Youth Commission. The Commission consists of 27 members, between the ages of 13-21, who reside and attend school in San Mateo County. The Youth Commission increases awareness of and advocates for youth issues, advises the Board of Supervisors, presents policy recommendations, and creates projects that serve the community. Applications are due May 3^rd! The new Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Commission is still recruiting three adult and youth (14-21 years old) commissioners to advocate for programs and services that prevent youth entry into the juvenile justice system.
