In this 8-month program, participants learn how to lead effective environmental campaigns that are grounded in social justice. Learn about current local environmental and conservation issues, how to influence key decision-makers, and successfully run equitable advocacy campaigns. SamTrans, Measure W Independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee: there are 5 vacancies, and the application deadline is October 15, 2021. The COC will receive findings for an independent audit, hold a public hearing, and issue a report annually on how Measure W funding is being spent and whether those expenditures are consistent with the requirements of the law.  Find more information about the COC and the application here.
