City of Menlo Park: There are four vacant seats on the Complete Streets Commission, four on the Housing Commission, three on the Parks and Recreation Commission, and one on the Planning Commission. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m., Friday, May 7, 2021.

City of San Bruno: There are two open seats on the Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee, one vacant seat on the Parks & Recreation Commission (one member may be a local high school student serving as a youth representative), and one short-term vacancy on the Planning Commission.  Deadline: pen until filled. City of San Mateo: There is one vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Commission. Applications are due by 5pm on Friday, May 28, 2021.

City of Redwood City: The City is beginning the process of redrawing its district maps. City residents can apply to be on the Advisory Redistricting Committee by Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.  www.redwoodcity.org/redistricting. There is one partial term seat on the Housing & Human Concerns Committee, The deadline to submit an application is Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.

County of San Mateo: The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors is seeking applicants interested in serving on the 2021 Supervisorial District Lines Advisory Commission. Once formed, the 11-member Commission will hold a series of public meetings to study the boundaries of the County’s five supervisorial districts. The Commission’s work will be supported by a professional demographer and County staff. Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021.
