On March 14th, representatives from five County Health divisions and a nonprofit partner attended a regional learning session for the Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE). Participants learned how to measure racial equity impact and heard from peers from Southern California, Oregon, and Virginia working to ensure that race no longer predicts a person’s success. This is County Health’s third year participating in the national network of local governments advancing racial equity in their institutions, thereby improving systems for all.
