Where you live shouldn’t determine how long you live. Yet the place you call home dictates the transit, jobs, schools, and healthy options easily available to you. This year’s Supreme Court ruling on where to build federally funded affordable housing requires consideration of all the factors that create thriving communities before new housing is built – and will help ensure we are building affordable housing in neighborhoods that provide broad opportunities to be healthy.
