Civic engagement influences the health of a community. In the June 2018 election, 44.43% of San Mateo County eligible voters casted their vote. Yet, only 18% of low-income youth of color registered voters casted their votes. We are awaiting the November 2018 data to update this information and see if we’ve made progress!
