On February 4, representatives from the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) SDOH work group presented to East Palo Alto’s City Council. They shared basics of SDOH, background on the CHIP and an opening for collaboration. Council Members and the Mayor shared enthusiasm for SDOH efforts to improve community health. Discussion included: SDOH in the city’s general plan, commitment from the city via an existing Health & Equity element and improving traffic safety.
