The California Department of Public Health’s CalFresh Healthy Living (CFHL) Program recently released the CFHL Equity Framework. The Equity Framework provides a framework for local CalFresh Healthy Living Programs to set goals around addressing equity in their communities along with strategies for how to achieve those goals. The framework can be used to inform programs and strategies beyond CFHL. Trainings will be offered by Leah’s Pantry for local implementing agencies to better understand how to implement the framework in their communities. You can view the framework to learn more.
